New Cancer Targets – NCT Conference

Heidelberg, September 23rd-24th 2013

Hosted by the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) Heidelberg and celebrating the 40th Heidelberg Grand Round, the 2013 Conference on New Cancer Targets  will gather academics, scientists,clinicians and pharmaceutical industry representatives to reflect innovations in therapeutics development, targeted treatments and early detection and prevention strategies.

Characterization of key mutations and molecular pathways target diagnostic and therapeutic intervention. Prediction of treatment response with substantially increased accuracy stratifies particular patient groups and will allow to eventually individualizing both cancer treatment and prevention.
Further clinical progress in cancer care will be achieved through effective translation of basic science into diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive clinical trials and efficient new drug development for maximal patient benefit.

For a joint approach and optimal exchange of information, the NCT Conference will provide the maximum amount of interaction and discussion through an exciting range of talks and workshops.
