Clinician Scientist Program

The DKFZ Clinician Scientist Program is the German Cancer Research Center's official program to foster innovative translational research by strengthening the research profile of clinician scientists. Internships

The Division is keen to provide opportunities to young students, clinicians and other professionals interested in Health Economics, to get involved in projects on a small scale that provide them with a better understanding of our research area. The successful candidates will be deemed as a member of the dynamic, productive and highly efficient team.

Profile:

  • Advance English level
  • Very good communication and writing skills
  • Competent handling of MS Office applications
  • High degree of reliability and flexibility
  • Structured and independent approach to work
  • The ability to work well in collaborative, cross-functional teams is required

Student Research Assistants (Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft, HIWI)

We are seeking for a dedicated and highly motivated student, who is interested in health economics as well as in the following tasks:

  • Revision, editing and proofreading for linguistic quality of a variety of documents and academic papers wrote in English
  • Support of research projects (e.g., literature reviews)
  • Project-related support of administrative tasks


Profile:

  • He/she must be an English native speaker (preferably from the UK, Canada, the USA, New Zealand or Australia).
  • Studies in health economics, health sciences (e.g., public health), medicine or a related field
  • Very good communication and writing skills
  • Competent handling of MS Office applications
  • High degree of reliability and flexibility
  • Structured and independent approach to work
  • The ability to work well in collaborative, cross-functional teams is required
