Scientific progress thrives on the exchange of expertise across all national borders. We are proud that more than 90 different nations are represented at our center. To ensure that bureaucracy is not an obstacle here, our International Staff Service and our Welcome Office are here to support you. We see ourselves as a point of contact and service center that, when needed, connects you with the appropriate contacts and relevant authorities.

Our International Staff Services


International Staff Services (ISS) supports international employees and their families with all matters related to residency law.

Our consulting services cover visa and residency options, including permanent residency and settlement permits, family reunification, and naturalization.
We guide you through the application process and are happy to review your application documents with you.

 

 

Our Welcome Office

Our Welcome Office helps new employees settle in successfully in Germany and at the DKFZ. With comprehensive advice and personalized support, it guides you through all the important steps for a smooth start.

We advise you on other administrative matters and everyday issues and offer assistance with opening a bank account and obtaining health insurance. The Welcome Office is also happy to assist you with any questions or concerns regarding family and children.
