Audit "berufundfamilie"

The DKFZ has been certified "berufundfamilie" by the Hertie Foundation since 2005. This nationally recognized certification demonstrates high standards of work-life planning established by the DKFZ. In 2018, the DKFZ received the final certificate of "berufundfamilie", the "Z5" certificate, and thus carries a permanent certificate positioning the DKFZ among the leading centers for establishing measures regarding work-life planning.
Through numerous activities such as lectures, seminars, organization of conferences and children's flea markets, equal opportunities have become an integral part of DKFZ culture.
The persons responsible for the topics such as the Equal Opportunity Officer and her Deputy, the Human Resources Department including Career Service, Training and International Staff Service, as well as the Communication and Marketing Department are continuously working on maintaining the current measures and implementing new ones.
