Dr. Lowe is a member and chair of the Cancer Biology and Genetics Program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, chairman of the Georey Beene Cancer Research Center, and professor, Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences. His research focus investigates tumor-suppressor gene networks that control apoptosis and senescence. Amonst other awards he received the AACR Outstanding Investigator Award, the Paul Marks Prize for Cancer Research and the Alfred G. Knudson Award for Excellence in Cancer Genetics, National Cancer Institute.
