Programs for Bachelor and Master Students

Programs for Bachelor and Master's Students

If you are not (yet) eligible to apply for the PhD program at the DKFZ, why not join one of our programs for bachelor and master's students?

Internships in Cancer Research

If you are a master's student interested in gaining some research experience at the DKFZ, you can organize an internship by getting in contact with department heads directly e.g. by e-mail with your CV and a cover letter including the time when you would be interested in doing an internship. For this please have a look at the research groups at the DKFZ to dentify which groups match your interest.

"During my two-month summer internship, I gained a lot of research experience and found out what I want to specialize in. What impressed me most about my lab were the dynamic research environment and the frequent high impact publications. The beautiful nature, healthy food and friendly people made my days in Heidelberg very enjoyable. This internship was a great chance and I am looking forward to the possibility of returning to the DKFZ as a PhD student."
