In 1992 the teaching lab was arranged with foundation money and since then practical courses have been taking place. In the basement of the communication center two laboratories are available. In addition a cell culture laboratory, a cold room, a microscopy room and two rooms for devices may be used. Moreover several computers remain in the teaching laboratory. The nearby lecture hall and seminar rooms in the communication center are an additional advantage for the performance of practical courses.
Here students, pupils, apprentices and scientist get to know modern cell and molecular biological methods or they are trained how to treat laboratory animals. The laboratory has a basic equipment of scientific devices, which allow a broad application of cell and molecular biological techniques.
