Dr. Rola Houhou





Dr. Rola Houhou obtained her PhD in photonic data science from Friedrich-Schiller University, Jena in 2022. She has a strong background in pure mathematics, probability and statistics, and partial differential equations, with two master's degrees in these fields. She earned first class honor for both of her master's degrees.

She has nearly 15 years of interdisciplinary experience in academia and industry. Her research interests include developing inverse and forward models for linear and non-linear spectroscopy using artificial intelligence techniques.

She enjoys cooking, hiking, and lifting weights in her free time.
