Marco Hübner

Ph.D Student

Marco Hübner holds an MSc degree in Physics (Heidelberg University, 2021) and is currently pursuing a PhD candidate at IMSY. He investigates the theoretical limits of radiative transfer, develops physics-informed generative models for synthetic data, and establishes rigorous quality assessment frameworks to ensure robust clinical usability.
To promote sustainable and resource-efficient research in the field of data science, Marco acts as the Green DiSC representative for the division of Intelligent Medical Systems (IMSY). In this role, he leads training sessions and consults on energy-efficient workflows, raises awareness of sustainable computing practices, and advocates for open, FAIR data science to ensure the responsible use of resources and proper data lifecycle management.
