Born and raised in Kalamata, Greece, my journey in biology started with a BSc from the University of Athens. After an internship at the Max Planck Institute in Magdeburg focusing on developing tools for bacterial genetic engineering, I decided to stay in Germany where I am currently pursuing an MSc in Molecular Biosciences at Heidelberg University. At the Odom Lab I will join James Cleland in his quest to unveil the mechanisms of sex bias of cancer in different organs using single cell transcriptomics. In my free time, you can often find me on two wheels, exploring the city and beyond.
