About Milica
Milica obtained her BSc in Biology at the University of Novi Sad in Serbia and MSc in Molecular Biosciences (Major Cancer Biology) at the University of Heidelberg and DKFZ. During her master's thesis in Ana Martin-Villalba's group, she worked on the role of Wnt signaling in quiescence of glioblastoma.
In June 2023, she joined the Odom and Frye research groups as a shared PhD student to study the mechanisms of cancer resistance.
In her free time, she loves to travel and is always on a search for the best specialty coffee café in every new town she visits.
