Perrine Lacour

PhD Student

About Perrine

Perrine studied for her Biology bachelor's and then her master's in Genomics, Systems Biology and Bioinformatics (2020) in Nantes and Paris, France. During her master's, she transitioned from wet lab to computational biology and joined a few math classes. In former labs, she worked on different aspects of gene regulation and development, from glucocorticoid transcriptional control in cell lines to color patterns in emus. Her PhD project is shared between the Odom and Gonçalves labs and focuses on the impacts of ageing and hormonal stimulations on female reproductive organs, using single-cell and spatial transcriptomics approaches.

In her free time, Perrine likes DIY activities, jigsaw puzzles, as well as playing board or video games and baking.
