Aleksandra obtained her BSc in Molecular Life Sciences from Radboud University, The Netherlands. For her thesis, she worked on characterizing mammalian RNA-protein complexes. She came to Germany during the last internship of her MSc Molecular Mechanisms of Disease at Radboud University. In the Odom lab, she is expanding her computational skills in her Master's thesis under the supervision of Dr. Paul Ginno. Her project focuses on using evolutionary divergence to dissect gene regulatory mechanisms in mouse tissues. Her hobbies include and are not limited to D&D, karaoke, crocheting and pole sports.
