Description of Online Phase

Each virtual teaching course starts with an online phase of 4-6 weeks each. It is designed to be as flexible as possible in order to take into account the professional's busy schedule. During this period, participants get access to the virtual learning platform "Moodle" which provides all learning materials such as pre-recorded video lectures and lecture notes as PDFs. Furthermore, additional tasks are provided via Moodle that participants should work on individually or in small groups during the online phase.
Please also download and read our technical requirements to attend our virtual teaching courses.
Description of Live Online Sessions

During the online phase, there are several mandatory Live Onine Sessions scheduled via Zoom, usually mainly at the end of an online phase. Zoom is a webconferencing software which is suitable for all current devices (mobile or desktop). Please download and carefully read the programs of each virtual teaching course to see all dates and times of the mandatory Live Online Session.
Prior to the first Live Online Session of a virtual teaching course, there will be a mandatory online ID-Check (either with your ID card or your passport) with the course coordinators (date and time see programs). More information about this procedure will be announced in advance. Furthermore, you can check your technical settings in Zoom to ensure smooth participation.
Each virtual teaching course is concluded by a mandatory online test (Multiple Choice Questions) about all topics taught. During a period of two weeks participants can do the online test whenever they have time. 50% of the points indicated need to be reached to successfully pass an online test and thus, to get the final certificate.
