DDLSS Massimiliano Pagani "Know Your Enemy: Unraveling the Gene Regulatory Networks of Tumor-Infiltrating CD4+ Regulatory T Cells"

Massimiliano Pagani heads the Molecular Oncology and Immunology Laboratory at the FIRC Institute of Molecular Oncology (IFOM) in Milan and is a Full Professor of Molecular Biology at the University of Milan. His primary research interest is in understanding the immune response in tumors. Author of over 80 articles in prestigious international journals, including Science, Nature Immunology, and Immunity, he has received several recognitions, including a European ERC grant to study the molecular basis of immunosuppression mechanisms in tumors. In recent years, his research group has actively employed single-cell "omics" and "spatial-omics" technologies to further investigate the tumor ecosystem. In 2018, he founded the start-up CheckMab to develop new anti-cancer therapies.
