Teresa earned two Master degrees in Molecular Medicine and Cancer Science from the Universities of Uppsala and Glasgow, respectively. She is interested in understanding how cellular communication between different cell types within the tumor microenvironment supports tumor progression. For her work within the Hartmann Lab, she concentrates on those communications that are linked to the metabolism of immune cells and cancer cells. For this, she combines MIBI imaging with machine learning.
