Sisay Alemu is a postdoctoral researcher at the German Cancer Research Centre (DKFZ), specialising in spatial epidemiology and health geography. His work examines how place and spatial context shape health outcomes, with a particular focus on geographic access to health services, the spatial distribution of health and disease, and the consumption and environmental availability of unhealthy commodities, including alcohol, tobacco, and e-cigarettes.
