Katrin Eike-Verfürth serves as Executive Assistant to Professor Michael Schlander at the DKFZ, where she has supported the Department of Health Economics since 2017 in a multilingual and international environment. Prior to this, she worked closely with Nobel Laureate Professor Harald zur Hausen, bringing her administrative, organizational, and linguistic expertise to high-level scientific settings. Ms. Eike-Verfürth holds a diploma in translation from the University of Heidelberg and is a certified translator for French and English, with native fluency in German.
Her professional experience spans academic, scientific, and cultural institutions, where she has consistently combined her language skills with administrative expertise. In addition to her long-standing role at the DKFZ, Ms. Eike-Verfürth has contributed to European research initiatives and subtitled cultural programming for international broadcasters such as ARTE and TV5.
