Clinical and Technical Radiology Seminar
Students in the Interdisciplinary Oncology elective track and students of physics and engineering
Faculty: Prof. Dr. David Bonekamp, Dr. Thomas Fiedler, Dr. Dr. Hans Koss, Dr. Tanja Platt, PD Dr. Stefan Sawall, PD Dr. Markus Wennmann
Description:
This course offers a comprehensive introduction to the field of radiology for medical students in their clinical training phase. It covers the most important topics encountered by radiologists in their daily diagnostic work, thereby providing a solid foundation for clinical rotations, a clinical internship, or a doctoral program in radiology. In addition, medical physicists will provide clear explanations of the technical fundamentals and safety considerations associated with various radiological imaging modalities. Students in the preclinical phase of their studies or those from other academic programs are also welcome to attend as auditors.
