Ekaterina is a scientific coordinator supporting the MEDAL project. Her background is a diverse mix of research, science communication, and project management. Before joining DKFZ, she organised scientific events ranging from the Accelerator Conference 2022 at the IAEA to Berlin Science Week at the Falling Walls Foundation.
She holds an MSc in Physics from Freie Universität Berlin and a BSc in Physics from Moscow State University. Her Master's research was carried out at HZB Berlin and focused on X-ray analysis of ancient papyri.
