 nnounce that this Veganuary\, Dr. Marco Springmann\, Senior Researcher at 
 the Environmental Change Institute at the University of Oxford\, will be d
 elving into these critical topics at the 16th DKFZ Sustainability Talk. Dr
 . Springmann has played a key role in the development of the groundbreakin
 g EAT-Lancet Commission Planetary Health Diet\, offering insights into how
  we can protect both human health and the planet through sustainable food 
 systems. Through his role as Oxford University and as a Professorial Resea
 rch Fellow at University College London’s Institute for Global Health\, 
 he conducts multi-disciplinary research that connects food systems\, clima
 te change\, and public health. His research has been published in leading 
 journals\, including Nature\, Science\, The Lancet\, the BMJ\, and others.
  In addition\, he has contributed to high-level reports\, including those 
 of the EAT-Lancet Commission on Healthy Diets from Sustainable Food System
 s\, the Lancet Countdown on Health and Climate Change\, the Global Nutriti
 on Report\, and the UN Environment Programme’s Emissions Gap Report. Eve
