> Student Selection 2011

After the application gateway of the University has been closed on March 15, the Major Cancer Biology Selection Committee is currently reviewing the applicants' files.
Candidates short-listed for personal interviews will be notified ca. on April 20.
Personal interviews take place in Heidelberg on Monday, May 9 (main day) and Friday, May 13 (auxiliary day).
Overveas candidates are interviewed by telephone between May 5 and May 13.

The evaluation procedure of HIGS fellowship applicants is taking place in parallel. Only candidates who have submitted their complete application material for the master program (see link below) can be considered.

The Helmholtz International Graduate School for Cancer Research (HIGS) of the German Cancer Research Center will again offer competitive MSc fellowships to outstanding applicants from all over the world, enabling them to enroll in the MSc program Molecular Biosciences with Major Cancer Biology. Application is via the application gate of the Hartmut Hoffmann-Berling International Graduate School of Molecular and Cellular Biology (HBIGS).

Please note that successful application for a scholarship does not automatically include admission to the master program. These are two parallel but separate application and selection procedures.
