Chih-Yuan Cheng is a doctoral researcher, and his PhD thesis focuses on the cost-effectiveness of colorectal cancer screening in Germany. Besides that, he is also involved in projects related to costs of new drug development.

Chih-Yuan is a physician by training from Taiwan. He has clinical experience in various specialties. He worked between 2012 and 2014 in different university hospitals in Taiwan and the US. Moreover, he was employed as a physician in Burkina Faso primary care setting. Additionally, he completed a joint MSc in Health Policy, Planning and Financing from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and London School of Economics in 2016. Since then, he has worked on economic evaluation projects for medical innovations and data analysis in disease areas such as oncology, HIV and infectious disease.
