Transfer Tandem

Development of targeted immunmodulatory strategies by means of AI-based robotics platforms

Pandemic preparedness needs novel widely available solutions, which requires transfer of knowledge and technology to industry. The CoViPa consortium aims to pave the way for a prototype that adopts and combines knowledge on immune mechanisms with robotics technologies to accelerate the development of diagnostics, therapeutics, and vaccines for pandemic pathogens.
The Transfer Group develops robotic platforms for lab automation and their application to autonomous high-throughput formats. The platforms are used to assist in COVID-19 biomarker assay and antibody analyses.
These technologies are of high relevance for the ongoing pandemic and, given their versatility, increase pandemic preparedness.
