The Department of Tumour Virology (Prof. Dr. Jean Rommelaere), German Cancer Research Center (www.dkfz.de), Heidelberg, is seeking a highly motivated



Ph.D. student




to work on the development of innovative therapeutic strategies against HPV-induced carcinomas. Projects include the construction and functional analysis of chimeric vectors of adeno- and parvovirus genomes, with cancer-specific cell targeting and oncolytic/apoptosis-triggering properties.

Experience in molecular and cell biology is highly desirable.

The successful candidates will join a creative research team with an international reputation in the field of applied tumour virology.

The position is available immediately for three years. The salary is based on BAT IIa/2 standard German scale.
