Christina joined the neuroblastoma group in March 2008. She did her Bachelor degree at Leibniz University Hannover, studied one year as exchange student in Uppsala, Sweden, and finished her studies at the University of Bremen in the Masters program “Biochemistry and molecular Biology”. In her Master thesis she worked on the construction of adeno-associated viruses for antisense gene therapy against canine prostate cancer. After that she took a year off to travel and work in New Zealand.
Right now she is working on establishing ChIP on chip for tumour samples in order to find nmyc and myc target genes and their gene expression status.
