The ES Cell Search Tool gives the possibility to order genetically modified ES cells of interest at EUCOMM (European Conditional Mouse Mutagenesis programme) and KOMP (Knockout Mouse Project).
The search results will be presented in a table with:
1. column: Allele Symbol
2. column: ES cell id (a shopping cart symbol indicates the possibility to order the ES cells)
3. column: Ensembl gene id
4. column: Allele name
5. column: Unigene id
6. column: GeneID
7. column: Accno id


Search example for ordering ES cells at EUCOMM

Open Search field

• Enter the keyword “fatty acid” into the search field and start the search by clicking on the "Submit" button.
• Choose from the Query results table the row with your ES cells of interest.
• A shopping cart symbol in the 2nd column indicates the possibility to order the ES cells.
• Clicking on the ES cell id number (e.g. 35451) will give you a Gene Report.
• The Pipeline Stage shows you the different steps towards the generation of targeted ES cells and the transgenic mouse. In the ES cell clones part it is possible to order the ES cells by clicking on the "Order" button. Follow the instructions.
• Ordering from EUCOMM or KOMP is different. You will find the name of the provider in the Gene Report above the Pipeline Stage row.

Open Search field

• Enter the keyword “neurotransmitter” into the search field and start the search by clicking on the "Submit" button.
• Choose from the Query results table the row with your ES cells of interest.
• A shopping cart symbol in the 2nd column indicates the possibility to order the ES cells.
• Clicking on the ES cell id number (e.g. 26248) will give you a Gene Report.
• The Pipeline Stage shows you the different steps towards the generation of targeted ES cells and the transgenic mouse. In the ES cell clones part it is possible to order the ES cells by clicking on the "Order" button. A "Order ESC" button should become availably. Press the "Order ESC" button. Follow the instructions.
• Ordering from EUCOMM or KOMP is different. You will find the name of the provider in the Gene Report above the Pipeline Stage row.
