To promote the modelling activities within the SBCancer consortium, each of the biomedical projects is closely linked to theoretical projects organized in a modelling platform.
In addition general methods for model inference, mathematical modelling, numerical simulation and optimization will be developed centrally.
The Modelling Platform will focus on the following areas:
- Kinetic Modelling ins Systems Biology
- Simulation and Optimisation
- Spatiotemporal and Stochastic Dynamics
- Databases for Systems Biology
- Data-driven Statistical Modelling
