Short Biography
Mirko Sobotta studied Biochemistry at the University of Bielefeld. He finished his Diplom thesis entitled "Role of CD84 in B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukaemia – CD84 as a novel survival receptor?" at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel while working with the group of Idit Shachar (Department of Immunology).
In July 2009, Mirko joined the group as a PhD student focusing on the redox mechanisms involving peroxiredoxins.
