iness@dkfz is an "interactive network of DKFZ senior scientists" which has been founded on October 23rd in 2006.
The aim of iness@dkfz is to foster interactions between scientists within the dkfz with respect to research and other research-related topics of interest (e.g. funding, teaching, career development, WorkLife Balance issues …).
Besides direct personal interactions, communication within iness@dkfz is managed via a highly flexible electronic platform, which allows customized retrieval and rapid exchange of reliable information.

For access to the electronic platform you
(1) need to become a member of iness@dkfz
(2) have a valid AD-account within the dkfz
(3) must be within the dkfz firewall
(4) and then use this link.
Senior scientists of iness@dkfz encompass the heterogeneous group of scientists from senior post doc up to PD or professor who are conceptually responsible for a scientific project yet are integrated within a division.
