ATV: Epidemiological unit
The main laboratory, situated in the ATV, INF242, is committed to large-scale epidemiological studies and post-PCR hybridisation steps. Established techniques in the lab include: Luminex-based serology and nucleic acid detection, cell culture, DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, cloning, plasmid isolation, Western blotting, ELISA, immunohistochemistry.
NCT: Clinical Diagnostics unit
Since September 2010, we have established new laboratories at the NCT for sample processing, pre-PCR and clinical diagnostics under GLP conditions. Established techniques in the lab include: Automated nucleic acid extraction, automated setup for RT-PCR, qPCR and multiplex PCR.
