Partners in the Helmholtz Alliance Immunotherapy of Cancer use conventional and highly innovative recombinant technologies to produce vaccines, high affinity T cells and bispecific antibodies, directed against selected tumor specific antigens. These therapeutic tools will be developed under GMP conditions for clinical trials.
Follow up and outcome analysis in treated patients will focus on the question of wether resistance to such therapies is associated with apoptosis resistance and wether resensitization by drugs is therapeutically feasible.

Regular workshops along these four technology platforms ensure cross-topic networking within the Alliance and focusing into the direction of clinical application.
