Lindsay is the manager of the Helmholtz International Graduate School for Cancer Research, the PhD program of the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ). In addition, Lindsay also coordinates the German-Israeli Helmholtz Research School in Cancer Biology and Cancer Transitional Research And EXchange Program (Cancer-TRAX), joint graduate training initiatives of the DKFZ and the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel. She holds Masters degrees in Natural Sciences (Biochemistry) and Management and a PhD in Cell Biology. She has been managing the DKFZ Graduate School since November 2008. She is also a member of the Board of the DKFZ Alumni Association, elected in June 2012.
